hello friends i will be recieving my scleral shell this friday i live in the bay area in california so looks are evrything here now first of all i am blind in my right eye i still have the whole eye intact its jus a little smaller then the other i was wondering what who have had this process done to them have liked and not liked so with movement of the eye the matching of the color im scared that my scleral shell wont move much with my companion eye...as of right now i have full motion with my blind eye its just discolored...i would appreciate any insight as to what to expact thanks friends

Hello there, from my take on it, if you eye has good movement and the shell is a good fit, you will have no problems in the movement. wishing you the very best.

oh my god..we have the same thing...the other eye is a lil smaller but not sunken and i use cosmetic contact lens..100% movement and nobody knows im monocolar..maybe u should try that or google it so u get some ideas..but now i have a bump there...my doctor told me to have the eye removed..i jus searched "scleral shell" on google and i didnt know this things exist..maybe i should get this than have my eye removed..but my surgery is in 3 days!

My son has more movement with his natural eye than with his shell, but since the shell looks so much better I think it's a big improvement. Also it's just nice for people to think he has a lazy eye instead of a blind eye. When he has his glasses on, no one notices his eye at all.
