PO Well it's the last night for posturing pD: or at least i hope so. I go to see my surgeon tomorrow morning. I hope it as worked this time. the pain and irritation is sometime unbearable. I often feel i can see inside my eye as this happened to anyone else i see a white like golf ball with black like feelers or stitches. then i can see fish shaped objects it's a little like kalidascope. i not on morphine Lol!! I only see it with eye open It's weird I have so many questions when i see him but i think he can't give me the answer ineed. only time can do that. I just feel i can fight to get sight whatever back. Then i have doubt that i go through all this and loose the eye anyway. It's a tough call P (

Hello Julie,
It has been nearly a month now for this positioning, no wonder you are fed up with it. I hope you get good news from your doctor and that it has worked this time. Arm yourself with written questions, we tend to forget when in the doctors office, also pain is a factor in short term memory loss. You are probably "seeing" the oil or gas in your eye.
Blessings to you.
Maureen

I agree with the above. I went today too, to see my specialist, the cornea transplant is in excellent shape, the glaucoma is under control, looking good all around.
So check out all alternatives.
Maureen

Hi; I hope this time it has worked for you. I agree with Moby; as you think of things write them down before your consultation.

That's good news too for you Moby ..... always a sigh of relief when we get a good report card from the docs.

Cheers Vera

pD: well L.Ere's I went to eye surgeon it was good news. in the fact all is well behind the eye ie: no fluid, the retina is attached but it's too early to tell about sight what i will get. Still in pain but sometimes its like a constant irritation. I go back to see him on the 26th of march. I will be armed with what, when and how's. So my vision is nill at the moment but i know as the gass bubble shrinks it will let me see but as for a new lens i will find out on my next visit. Glad all is well for you Moby. I just want to say you are all the best. You have really helped in my decision making. I will go on to see if i get a reasonable amount of sight. If it get too much then i know the answer that is thanx to you guys :respekt:

I am so pleased for you Julie that all is well with the retina, and that's the main worry. Now as to this irritation, could be something affecting the cornea, if it gets too bad get back to your specialist, no need too suffer if they can right it.
Thanks Vera for your good wishes, yes a great visit with the doc and he sees no reason at all why I would have any problem on our extended trip.........just keep doing what I am doing now! But will give me a travel letter when I call for it.
Good wishes to you Julie,
Maureen

Yes good news Julie and a good chance that you'll be able to see a bit..
Great news also for Maureen and a very good idea about the 'just in case' doctors travel letter for extended holiday trips to farrrrr away places!! :)
Wendy.
