Welcome Alex,

Glad you introduced yourself. Please don't let your English keep you from posting. Your English is just fine. We don't give people a hard time about their spelling and grammar. :)

Take care,
Karen

Welcome Alex. I live in USA and one thing that is so great about finding this site is the people you meet from all over the world.... Too bad there is not a translation program that can translate languages typed to the language needed to be read. Well, maybe jay will think of how to do it! Your English is very good so don't feel bad. sometimes my English is not all that good either ( and I speak it!!   ) If you don't mind my asking, how did you lose your eye? I lost my right eye at the end of February while on vacation in the Dominican Republic.... I slipped on the marble bathroom floor that I didn't realize was wet and hit my eye as I fell causing a ruptured globe and lacerated schlera. It was left untreated basically for 24 hours until I returned to the USA when I had my friend drive me to the emergency hospital. April 3, it was decided by 3 eye specialists that I would not have any light perception and they all recommended I have it removed. I am waiting to get the new eye on June 24th. It seems like it is taking forever and I still have trouble at times in stores and getting around in crowds but I am so much better than 2 months ago, of course! pD:

This site is great to find that losing an eye is not always feeling alone.

take care,
Pam
