Hi, I am new to the forum and would like to say hi. I recently adopted my daughter, now 4 years old. She sustained an injury to her left eye at age 3 months and is completely blind in that eye. I thought the treatment was going to be fairly straightforward (and maybe it will be) with the fitting of a shell. But now that she has seen a couple of doctors, I have lots of questions. So I'm so glad I found this forum! I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you!

Hi Welcome to LE; and congrats of your daughter. We have lots of parents here which kiddies who have eye/sight problems. 2 weeks ago we got a new member who adopted a daughter from China with eye problems. I will put up a link for you; if you want. Do you have specific questions; if so; ask away. Cheers vera

Welcome threeruds! Your daughter is lucky to have you.

You know, the questions you ask here may help others in a similar situation who may not be ready to join LE. I hope you get answers for all your questions. Janice
