Welcome to lost eye,
you are normal! Many of us have the same worry. I found it gets better as time goes by and you return to your life. Getting used to having only one eye causes anxiety and makes you tired.

Please do not think you are stupid. You are very normal.

Try and stay in the present, don't go with "What ifs". Concentrate on what blessings you have in your life...your health and you can see the whole world with that eye. Look at all the lovely colours around you and feel how blessed you truly are.
We all go there at sometime.

Dont be afraid....just keep it protected. Thinking about the possibilities could be OK ...just try not to let it rule your life.
Hang in there!

Hi Clari2, welcome to LE. A very helpful and supportive bunch of
people from all over the world, happy to help and share stories.
You are completely normal with you feelings, we have all had those thoughts
at various stages - but as time passes they will become less and less.
You are totally in charge of your thoughts - so look at this beautiful
world every day and enjoy.!! good wishes sally

Hello Clari 2,
I agree with everbody else try to look at all the positive things, try to enjoy things and keep going upwards and have the best day you can. I am glad you are protecting your good eye and don't worry about the computer or reading for your good eye. Just have regular breaks and rest if you feel tired.
I am sorry you say people try to avoid you but I am sure if you relax and try not to worry you'll find good friends to support you.
Let us know you are keeping .
