I hope you find your answers and get your money back.
I am not satisfied with my prosthetic my eyes don't look alike.
I know what I see in the mirror and it doesn't match. I am going to the ocularist tomorrow so he can make some adjustments. I hate the sunken look from the surgery. Why do plastic surgeons do a half job and it cost you to make it look the same? I put tons of make up on. Avoid mirrors. I hate the way I look. And yes I have been depressed and anti depressant don't change what you see in the mirror. I want my eye sockets to match and my eyes. The ocularist or the doctor would not go some where and except a half done job. Ethics have been replaced by greed. I am obviously angry and will continue to be because I will not except a half done job.

First of all, I would seek the opinion of another certified ocuplastic surgeon. Ocuplastic surgeons deal strictly with eyes, whereas plastic surgeons deal with the whole body. With today's technologies, there is no reason to be less than satisfied with your looks. An upper eyelift got rid of my hollowness. Mine was only slightly sunken, but it was enough for me to notice every time I looked in the mirror. Eye makeup seemed to camouflage it a little, but there are many times that I don't wear makeup and didn't want to deal with the obvious sunken look. I am thrilled over my end results. Finally, both my eyes look as near identical as possible. Be sure to get a "certified" surgeon and do your homework before you allow anyone to cut on you. Your final step would be to go to a good ocularist to get final adjustments of your eye, if your eye fits and color matches your good eye.

HI Joyce,

I find it intersting that your hollowness was taken care of by lifting. Although I only had my surgery last Monday, fat tissue from my abdomen was taken and put into my eye socket so I won't have that "hollow" look. But then, maybe your hollow is different from mine.

I'm fortunate I had/have an ophthalmolic and orbital plastic surgeon who did my surgery. When I get my new eye, it will be interesting to see how it all comes out!!

I hope your fat graft does get rid of that hollow bit. I have it so badly and the graft didn't work well for me. It shrank down far too much and I don't look any different. Please keep us posted.
